SCMS was recognized by The Biomedical Society of Zambia and the Ministry of Health (MOH) for its “immense investment” in laboratory logistics and commodity procurement support. This award of excellence is given to organizations that excel in the support and delivery of biomedical services, and that align with the MOH's vision and performance.
2010
The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) received Supply Chain Distinction Awards for “Supply Chain Innovation” and “Best Value Supply Chain Provider” at the European Supply Chain and Logistics Summit. PFSCM was recognized for its groundbreaking work in providing a safe, reliable supply of HIV/AIDS commodities to countries most in need through the management of SCMS. SCMS has received Certificates of Appreciation from the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association three years in a row (2010, 2008, 2009) for its support in logistics and quantification trainings.
2009
SCMS received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI) for supporting the implementation of the External Quality Assurance program.
2008
SCMS Team Member RTT (formally PHD) won the GOLD award at the Logistics Achiever Awards ceremony. The awards program recognizes professionalism and excellence in the effective application of strategic, tactical, and operational logistics and supply chain management principles, concepts, and practices in Southern Africa. RTT was recognized for the development and operation of pharmaceutical distribution “Hubs Into Africa, i.e. the regional distribution centers established under SCMS.
2007
SCMS received a Certificate of Appreciation from Dire Dawa Provisional Administration for HIV/AIDS Control for its “contribution to HIV/AIDS prevention and control.”
We are also recognized at the 2007 National AIDS Programme of the Ministry of Health’s World AIDS Day awards ceremony for outstanding support to the national HIV/AIDS response.
SCMS received an award certificate from the HoChi Min City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) for being one of the best international nongovernmental organizations operating in Ho Chi Min City. We were recognized for successful provision of quality medicines for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
