At SCMS we regularly track our progress so that we may continually improve our efforts to strengthen supply chain systems worldwide. These supply chains are critical to support HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment with a safe, secure and reliable supply of essential medicines and products.

In addition to capturing and tracking a set of key measures of performance, we routinely track the progress of our activities in order to determine how we are meeting our goals and objectives. Measuring and managing our efforts enhance project accountability in delivering sustainable results on behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS.

We are pleased to share a few highlights of our results to date since the project began in September 2005:

[1] The Accelerated Access Initiative is a program of the World Health Organization (WHO) in partnership with six research-based pharmaeutical companies to provide developing countries access to branded ARV medicines at heavily discounted prices.
