We have developed the SCMS website as a resource to those working to build strong supply chains for the prevention, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS. This website is best viewed using Microsoft Explorer.
There are a number of ways that individuals and institutions can use the site to assist in their efforts:
INDIVIDUALS
We invite you to participate in this collaborative portal featuring key resources and opportunities to share information on supply chain efforts worldwide. Access SCMS resources and materials contributed by other partners and community members.
Every two months the SCMS e-newsletter Supply Lines features stories on how HIV/AIDS is being fought through effective supply chain efforts, and shares global resources available on the Internet. View current and past issues, as well as subscribe to the SCMS Supply Lines newsletter.
SCMS provides an exciting place to build or continue a career as a part of a diverse team. Individual organizations within our project team source and hire candidates. Successful candidates become employees of these international organizations and join the SCMS project team to make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
PUBLIC HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS
SCMS provides a comprehensive selection of commodities required in HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs. Our e-catalog includes antiretrovirals, HIV test kits, essential medicines to treat opportunistic infections and sexually transmitted infections, medical supplies and laboratory supplies and equipment.
SCMS collaborates among host-country governments, international donors, nongovernmental organizations, manufacturers and other stakeholders to ensure that quality medicines reach the people with HIV/AIDS who need them. We procure HIV/AIDS commodities, provide technical assistance, facilitate global partnerships and post request for proposal opportunities.
SCMS has programs in Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Guyana, Haiti, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Contact our field offices to learn about programs in your region and how we can work with you locally.
